Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial “tooth root” that enables a tooth replacement to be directly attached to your jaw. Implants are surgically placed in the bone and then extend through the gums in order to hold the new replacement. Unlike traditional, removable replacements, implants are fixed to the jaw and are cannot be removed by the patient.
Implants can be used to support just one or several teeth or even dentures. Implant supported dentures look more natural, are more comfortable and allow you to maintain a healthier jaw and teeth. If properly cared for, they can last a lifetime.
